Eccleshall Castle is a private family home situated on the edge of the small market town of Eccleshall in Staffordshire. It has been lived in by the Carter-Motley family for over one hundred years.

Throughout most of its long and sometimes turbulent history, the castle has been associated with the Bishops of Lichfield. The Castle has also had close connections with the town and with Holy Trinity Church throughout the years.

The Castle is currently not open to the public, but the gardens are occasionally opened to raise money for local Eccleshall Charities.
